Description:
This is a highly variable species. Adult females have huge heads and may be green, turquoise, or black, with bars of yellow, light green, and black spots. Juveniles and some older males are bright green. A brown stripe often runs through the eyes for camouflage.

Distribution:
Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines.

Habitat:
In lowland, woodland and wooded swamps.

Reproduction:
Live-bearing, 15-40 neonates.
